The Kids’ Bulletin needs a new computer

Dear subscribers to The Kids’ Bulletin,

The computer I use for editing and publishing The Kids’ Bulletin is dying and I don’t have money right now to upgrade. I really don’t like asking for donations, but if you or someone you know has a working laptop they don’t need it would be a huge help. The computer I have now is a 10+ year old Apple MacBook, so a newer MacBook would be the smoothest to upgrade to, but any laptop that can handle some graphics would do.

If you can help please send me a message at thekidsbulletin@gmail.com

Thank you and God bless!

Rose

UPDATE: I have received a number of generous donations and was able to buy a refurbished MacBook.  Thank you to all who contributed!

  1. Dear Rose,

I just sent you some (Canadian) money through PayPal. If you’ve never used PayPal before, you’ll receive an email from them explaining how to open your account, and then transfer the balance to your bank account.

PayPal is very safe and extremely secure — you shouldn’t worry about revealing any of your bank details to them. Their reputation depends on their ability to guard their customers’ details carefully; they have never been subject to any kind of hacking or breach.

Thank you for your wonderful work! (I’ve attached this week’s Bulletin for you to see what I do. (Our publisher’s deadline is Tuesday morning at 9:00 am, and so I have to go back three years in your archives and delete the date.)

    Blessings on you,

    Laura Morland Bulletin Editor

Hello – I’m a bit far away but would be happy to contribute something towards
the cost of a new computer

    1. Thank you, Thomas! There’s a paypal donation button on the website if that works for you, or if you prefer another method just send me an email at thekidsbulletin@gmail.com and we can figure something out. Thank you in advance for helping share the Faith! God bless!

  4. I am not sure where you are located but we have a program through one of our service groups, Alhambra, and supply refurbished computers and laptops that come from the University of Western Ontario. We have lots! I will forward your email to the fellow who looks after this and he can get in touch with you too.
    Great work by the way.
