Update on Gordon: He is home with our family – just over a week now. We’re adapting to life with a wheelchair-bound boy, but we’re so happy to have him at home and he’s improving a little every day! We are immensely grateful for your continued prayers!

Update on my five year old son who just had surgery: he is improving and regaining movement a little each day, but he is still in the hospital. We are so grateful for your continued prayers for him and for our family.
Update on Gordon’s Surgery
Thank you so much to all who prayed for my little boy, Gordon, who just had a ten hour surgery yesterday for a tumour in his spine. It was a gruelling day, but thanks be to God, the surgery was successful and he is on the road to recovery. Continued prayers for a complete recovery (without need of chemotherapy or radiation) and for his present comfort would be greatly appreciated!

The Kids’ Bulletin for Sunday February 19th, 2023 and an Urgent Prayer Request
Dear Friends,
In addition to this week’s Kids’ Bulletin I have a special request for prayers. My five year old son, Gordon, was just diagnosed with a tumour in his spine and is scheduled for surgery this Tuesday (Feb. 14th.) We are praying for a miracle, and asking the intercession of a pious young boy who passed away several years ago, a friend of our family, Nevan Dixon.

Dear Nevan, because of your fervent love for the Good Shepherd, we trust that you are with Him in Heaven. Your short life was one of extraordinary wisdom, faith, loyalty and courage, and we ask that we also receive these gifts.
We have come to ask for your intercession on behalf of Gordon, and pray for his immediate and complete healing. We pray that this miraculous recovery will give witness to the glory of God, and bolster the faith of all Canadians – especially those who are struggling with sickness or disease. Please take this special request to Our Lord.
